Bobby is a CPA-lawyer, and an experienced tax practitioner, having been with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for more than 23 years. In the BIR, he rose from the ranks and became the Chief of the National Investigation Division. He held the posts of Asst. Regional Director and Revenue District Officer, as well as technical assistant at the Office of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Office of the Deputy Commissioners for Legal and Enforcement, and Operations Groups, and revenue audit examiner.
While in the BIR, Bobby was a member of various committees, such as the VAT Ruling Committee, Income Tax Regulations Committee and E-Commerce Regulations Committee. He is experienced in tax audits and assessments, BIR ruling request reviews, and numerous technical and operational aspects of taxation.
Bobby obtained his Master’s Degree in International Tax at the Harvard University, and received his Bachelor’s of Law and Bachelors in Commerce degrees from the San Beda College.
