From Compassion to Action: MTF Counsel Outreach Program 2026 in Porac, Pampanga
Last Saturday, October 3, 2026, MTF Counsel visited Sapang Uwak in Porac, Pampanga, for our annual Outreach Program. This year’s outreach brought together our team in an effort to share not only donations and meals, but also time, care, and meaningful moments with the students of Sapang Uwak Elementary School.
In preparation for the outreach, our staff members gathered at the office to sort and repack donations intended for 200 students and their families. This served as an opportunity for everyone to work together toward a common goal and ensure that each donation was properly organized and ready for distribution. Every package represented our team’s commitment to making the outreach meaningful for the children and families we would be visiting.
Upon arriving in Sapang Uwak, our team immediately began preparing meals for the children. We cooked and served food, making sure that everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a warm and hearty meal. Sharing the meals created a welcoming atmosphere and allowed our team to interact more closely with the children and their family members. We also served them donuts later for snacks.
We also distributed donations to the children and their mothers like school supplies, slippers and grocery packs. The donations were prepared with the needs of the community in mind and seeing the children and their families receive them with appreciation made the preparation and effort worthwhile. More than the items themselves, the activity reflected our desire to extend support and remind the students that they are not alone. We also donated gardening tools and seeds to Sapang Uwak Elementary School.
To make the day even more memorable, MTF Counsel also prepared a program filled with games, performances, and activities for the children. The students delighted everyone with their performances exhibiting their natural talent. The program brought plenty of smiles and laughter as the students actively participated and enjoyed the activities. Our team members also had the opportunity to engage with them, creating moments of connection that went beyond the distribution of donations.
The outreach was not simply about giving material assistance. It was also about spending time with the community, listening, connecting, and sharing moments of happiness. Through activities such as these, we are reminded that even simple acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
After the outreach program, our team had lunch at Apag Marangle in Guagua, Pampanga, where we took the opportunity to reflect on the day and celebrate the success of the activity. The day served as a reminder that meaningful change can begin with simple acts of generosity and a genuine desire to help. As we look back on this year’s outreach, we are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the activity possible. From the preparation of the donations to the activities and interactions with the students and community, every effort played a part in making the day special. We would also like to thank Ms. Nini Sacro, our organizer, for making this Outreach Program possible.
