Atty. Euney Marie Mata Perez as one of the moderators of “Persuasive Influence: Mastering Boardroom Communication” hosted by ICD, NOWCD and KPMG Philippines

Our Managing Partner, Atty. Euney Marie Mata Perez, was one of the moderators of the forum entitled, “Persuasive Influence: Mastering Boardroom Communication” hosted by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), NextGen Organization of Women Corporate Directors(NOWCD) and RG Manabat & Co. (KPMG) held on October 12, 2026. This hybrid forum was held at KPMG Digital Advisory Center.

The other moderator was Ms. Monette Iturralde-Hamlin (Chairperson, ICD Board Diversity & Inclusion Committee). The panelists were Atty. Teresita J. Herbosa (Former Commissioner, Securities and Exchange Commission), Mr. Antonino T. Aquino (Former President & CEO, Ayala Land and Manila Water) and Ms. Consuelo D. Garcia (Independent Director, GT Capital Holdings).

The panelists discussed their experiences and how they managed various challenges of women in male dominated boards.

As society continues to progress, women are increasingly being recognized and accepted in positions of power and leadership. This reflects a growing awareness of the importance of women in Corporate boards. However, despite these positive developments, challenges and biases still exist, highlighting the importance of continued efforts to empower women in leadership. Through this forum, the panelists should give their insights and offered valuable advice on how women can communicate well persuasively and be heard in The Board room.
